General information:
The multifunctional voltage regulator 4542.3771.060 is purposed for voltage maintenance of the onboard vehicle network in predetermined limits in all system operation modes of electrical equipment at change of the rotation frequency of the alternator rotor, electrical load and environment temperature.
Application: automobiles KAMAZ (Euro-2, Euro-3) with an alternator 4542.3771 and other modifications.
The voltage regulator 4542.3771.060 ensures complete switching-off of the alternator’s field winding from the onboard network, thus increasing the reliability and safety of the power-supply system.
The indication of the vehicle on-board network reduced/increased voltage and the alternator’s low phase voltage is realized by glowing of the indicator lamp controlling the battery loading on the instrument cluster. The voltage regulator 4542.3771.060 ensures the fulfillment of the function of fading in current load, and the function of protection against short-circuit in the output and indicator circuit.
The multifunctional regulator is made with the usage of a modern microcontroller and it has no equal by certain basic parameters among large-series produced items.
The voltage control and regulation are performed directly on the alternator’s output terminal - on this principle all power-supply diagrams of modern automobiles of high class are built. Alternator startup control and control of its shaft rotation frequency is performed directly on one of the output power windings.
The multifnctional regulator 4542.3771.060 is produced in a single climatic design O2.1 in accordance with GOST 15150 for internal market and for export. On protection degree against penetration of foreign bodies and water, the item meets design IP67 in accordance with EN 60529. An operating mode of the regulator is S1 in accordance with DSTU GOST 3940.
The regulator is mounted directly on the alternator, where is stipulated the setting of regulators 4542.3771.060 with the help of standard screws.
The warranty period of exploitation is 3 years from the date of commissioning or from the date of sale in retail commercial network. The warranty obligations of the manufacturer are valid during four years from the date of the item production. The date of production is marked on the case of the item housing.
